RENEW is our third range. Utilising deadstock materials to create some of your favourite hero styles. These are made to order limited edition pieces, only available whilst our material stocks last.
Designing for durability or longevity has been identified as the single largest opportunity to reduce the carbon, water, and waste footprints of clothing. We believe that by giving clothes a longer usable life, through quality natural materials, they can be replaced less frequently.
The best opportunity within the clothing lifecycle to increase longevity is at the product design stage, where changes to design practices can have a significant impact on how long individual items remain wearable.
This is why we focus on 3 key areas:
Size and Fit – As we are all different, we always aim to make our fit flexible where possible. This means our designs will easily adjusted to suit your body shape. Whether this is oversized, elasticated or adjustable, we want to increase the wear you will get out of our designs, so they last for years to come.
Fabric Quality – We use the best materials possible, to help withstand wear and tear over a prolonged period. This means using predominantly certified fabrics where available, that are neutral in colour, vegan and natural where possible. Our focus is on creating modular pieces of interchangeable items that can be effortlessly styled and slotted into your existing wardrobe and worn throughout the seasons. Our single fibre compositions will also allow for easier recycling at their end of use.
Care and Repair – We will always advise on how to care for your clothing, by providing information about the best wash cycles, how to store and look after your garments. We also offer repair kits and are looking into offering a repair service in the future.
